The two plays included within this pairing were commissioned by members of The Workhouse Theatre in New York City and were later premiered at The Hartland Studio Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. Although written as a pair of companion pieces for two women and two men, dramatic and then comedic, the plays are each autonomous and can be presented independently of one another.
